Ling Guo

Marketing and Administrative Specialist

M.DIV, Emory University
B.S., Emory University

Thank God Ling did not complete her doctorate in theology because she has blessedly become Marshfield’s Swiss Army Knife employee, a must-have for every firm. Ling defies a single job title or team within Marshfield as a result of the very wide breadth of roles she plays. During the interview process with Marshfield, Ling came across the firm’s holiday cards and knew she would fit in well; of course, she was right.

Ling says that perhaps her particular area of greatest expertise is screening telemarketers — although when someone mispronounces “Niemczewski,” it provides an easy tell. Her favorite thing about her job is “tinkering with work processes,” which for Ling, means evaluating, assessing, and recommending changes to the status quo in an effort to make our firm run better and our processes more efficient. If you visit Marshfield, you will be greeted at the front by Ling and her montages of Minions (the ones from the movies). You will also likely get a taste for her sense of humor, like if she mentions that her favorite cartoon character is Scar from The Lion King. (We think it’s because of Scar’s trademark sarcasm but we know it could be the fact that he is one of the only Disney villains whose evil plan actually worked – at least initially. No one here has had the nerve to ask which.)
