Marketing Associate

M.S., Johns Hopkins University
B.B.A., Howard University

Andrew Clark joined Marshfield in 2019 to assist the Research Team and now works as part of the marketing team, expanding and educating Marshfield’s investor base and business partners. Prior to joining Marshfield, Andrew worked as an Investment Analyst at Arthur J. Gallagher & Company for just over three years, beginning in 2016. Andrew also worked as a Financial Planning Associate at Capital Asset Management Group in 2015, and had roles as a Financial Advisor and as a Private Banking Advisory Associate at Morgan Stanley from 2013-2015. Andrew was attracted to Marshfield for the opportunity to learn from a group of disciplined investors.

Andrew grew up in his family’s Ohio church; his father is the current pastor, following in the footsteps of his own father before him. It was in church that Andrew’s love for music took root and flourished: today, he plays the saxophone, piano, organ and drums. His family was also in the bus business for several years, and at 7 years old he got his first job sweeping and mopping the interior of buses, a byproduct of his father’s (successful!) effort to instill in him a strong work ethic. And speaking of buses: if you think you saw him on the side of a bus, you probably did. While in college, Andrew was the Drum Major in the Howard University Marching Band and his photograph graced DC metro buses in celebration of the school’s homecoming. He is currently studying for level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst certification.
